Remember that wedding gift I was working on? I finished it ON TIME! Here is the finished Edelweiss blanket by Pam Allen of Quince & Company. I knit this version in Lorna's Laces Sportmate yarn, which has built-in climate control. It's made from 30% Outlast, a fiber technology that interacts with the body's microclimate to moderate temperature from being too hot or too cold. This is the colorway Avalon.
The box, well, that took about two hours to make. I got all of my supplies from Paper Source. They didn't have a finished box in a color that I liked, so I bought a shirt box, two sheets of Japanese paper, ribbon and tissue paper and headed home to make the box. Nothing like lots of rubber cement, a straight edge, and an exacto knife when you need it!
