I finished my shawl! Having indulged in a bit of selfish knitting over the holidays, I was finally able to block and sew in the ends on my Brora shawl.
Designed by Gudrun Johnson, I knit it in Brooklyn Tweed's Plains yarn in colorway Junko, which is grey with just a bit of purple in it; you notice when it's next to a cooler grey. It's a distinctive shawl, printed all over with triangles of garter stitch. The arrowhead lace edging combines garter stitch and eyelets to achieve a flintknapped texture.
It's so light and airy!
