Rory is a glamorous kitty and she's vacationing on Nantucket this summer. I'm told the evenings can be chilly, so Rory's caregiver ordered a custom sweater in Tickled Pink by Lorna's Laces.
This is a new color in the lineup for us this year and we will have sweaters available in our stock sizes, but I can make any size your fur baby might need, as I know that many can't simply buy off the rack!
Rory's sweater is mock cable with a mock turtleneck. All of our sweaters are hand knit on needles in front of the TV, from beginning to end. Here you see that our sweaters are knit in two pieces. All of our sweaters are knit from superwash merino, making them machine washable. I recommend allowing them to dry naturally.
Once the sweater is knit, it gets wet blocked in Kookaburra delicate wash, which has a lovely lavender scent. The pieces lay flat to dry, then get hand sewn together. I top them off with one of our woven logo tags and then they're ready for the customer. We love seeing our products in action, so let's see if we can get a pic of Rory strutting down the avenue!
